The Fashion House has announced plans to open a new restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Fashion house Gucci has announced plans to open its first restaurant in the U.S. The restaurant will be located on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The next location after California for the launch of the restaurant Gucci considers a quarter Ginza in Tokyo, and it is likely to be the last restaurant in the world chain. In Beverly Hills, Gucci Osteria will be located on the top floor of the flagship store of the Italian brand.
It will be the first location in the United States, but not in the world. The original Michelin-starred restaurant Gucci Osteria opened in 2018 at Piazza Della Signoria in Florence. Today, Gucci Osteria in Florence is part of the so-called Gucci Garden, which also includes the Gucci Garden Galleria showrooms and the brand's flagship store. The tasting menu of the restaurant costs 100 euros. Michelin star Gucci Osteria was awarded in November 2019, when its owners were already planning to open new establishments.
The restaurant in California is expected to have a smaller Italian aesthetic and specialize in food influenced by the United States.
