Cadillac Company offers its customers a fundamentally new experience of choosing a car.
Cadillac Live service is an online showroom where sales managers will be able to video chat with customers about the company's cars of interest and answer any questions they may have. If you wish, you can ask the manager to conduct a tour around the exhibition hall. At the moment, the models from the 2019 range are available for viewing, as well as CT4 and CT5, which are expected to be launched in early 2020.
Customers can request a test drive of their favorite car or book an offline meeting to discuss any additional details. At the same time, the visitors of the service can hear and see managers, while the latter is only available voice contact. A simultaneous chat with several clients is also possible.
From a technical point of view, project implementation is not too complicated. The Cadillac company rented a room of 10,000-square foot (900 sq.m.), provided it with high-quality lighting, gave managers iPhone X, Bluetooth headset, and monopod stabilizer Osmo Mobile. Communicating with the client, the manager can freely move around the room, showing the whole car or showing how it works, for example, a multimedia system, how easily a golf club fits in the trunk, etc.
TIt is no coincidence that the company chose this direction. According to Google, buyers who start buying a car with online research are twice as many as those who go straight to the showroom. At the same time, 71% of people in the first group switch to the products of competitors, if it turns out that they can provide more information online or the process of choice they have easier. It comes to life that such a showroom will give Cadillac more potential opportunities for sale. However, it is not possible to make a purchase directly via Live. Visitors will still have to visit the nearest representative office of the company.
Cadillac Live will be available daily, only on weekends, its working time will be a little bit shorter than on weekdays. The project is still in the testing state. If the experience is successful, the program will be extended.
