UK menswear company, BMB Clothing, has renewed its contract with Vodat International, a communication solution provider, for another three-year period, for continued support and service of its fully managed MPLS network.
The renewal includes the installation of three new main circuits at its office locations in Hartlepool, Goole and Leeds, as well as a new radio connection in Leeds. The new services are designed to improve performance and capacity with an improved fail-over in case of a failure in the main connection. Vodat will provide added capacity for a centrally managed internet breakout facility, to improve internet access from all the stores.
BMB’s IT support manager, Mark Keeble, stated their satisfaction with the service Vodat has provided since 2009. He said Vodat adapted well to their business needs and accommodated their requirements. BMB has gained benefit from increased bandwidth and improved connection speeds.
BMB is currently in the forefront with the use of iPads in one store, allowing their customers to view their entire product range online. It plans to include Wi-Fi to the whole store estate.
The head of sales at Vodat, Paul Leybourne, stated that they understand BMB’s needs and are delighted to have renewed the contract. The next phase will be to ensure faster connections, to allow BMB to deliver superb internet access to its staff, as well as to its customers in the store.
