Theme parks with the Marvel universe superheroes will be opened in California and Paris.
Following the incredible success of "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" theme park based on "Star Wars," Disney decided to use one of its most popular movie franchises to develop a similar project. The opening of the first themed "Avengers Park" at Disney's California Adventure Park in Anaheim is scheduled for 2020.
The new project will include the Avengers headquarters, where Marvel fans can meet their favorite superheroes. One of the main attractions will be the WEB (Worldwide Engineering Brigade), an interactive ride where visitors will be invited to fight virtual enemies with Spider-Man, hanging on the web and using many technological gadgets.
In addition to Peter Parker, Avengers Campus guests will meet the Black Widow, Moorman and Wasp, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Dr. Strange, as well as the heroes of Wakanda and Asgard. In a specially equipped kitchen, Marvel comic book character Hank Pim will cook unusual dishes of increased and decreased size. Other details of the upcoming project are not yet disclosed.
The official opening of the "Park of Avengers" in California will be held in the summer of 2019. Especially for visitors to the park will be built "New York Disney Hotel: Marvel Universe." Earlier Disney reported about plans to build theme parks in different parts of the world, including Florida, Hong Kong, and Paris, which will also implement the concept of "Avengers park."
