Apple plans to revamp or relocate 53 stores within four years

The company is also preparing to open seven new stores in China.

Apple Inc. is considering various scenarios to strengthen its position in Asian markets. According to Bloomberg news agency, the iPhone maker is preparing to open seven new stores in China.

Market sources know Apple's plans to launch 15 branded stores, 15 new stores in Asia-Pacific, five locations in Europe and the Middle East and four additional locations in the United States and Canada. This program runs through the end of 2026.

At the same time, Apple is preparing to move six stores in Asia, nine in Europe and 13 in North America to new locations. The company aims to renovate or move 53 stores worldwide to recent locations over the next four years.

As for the Chinese market, which continues to be one of the most important for Apple in recent years, there will be stores in Beijing, Wenzhou (Zhejiang Province), Foshan (Guangdong Province), Hefei (Anhui Province) and Shenzhen (Guangdong Province). All openings are planned for 2025. In addition, two refurbished Apple stores will open in Shanghai in the fall of 2023.

At the end of 2022, Apple earned about 130 billion dollars in Asia-Pacific, almost a third of all company revenues. As of the second quarter of 2023, Apple operated 520 stores in 26 countries, about half of which were in the United States.
