The retail space was created in collaboration with Galeries Lafayette department store.
Luxury fashion house Prada has announced the opening of an unusual pop-up store in Galeries Lafayette in Paris. The retail space, stylized as a real rainforest, is open to the brand's admirers in one of the top locations in the French capital until February 10, 2020. The project includes 15 original showcases to show the best new products from the brand's new collection on an area of about 77 square meters.
The temporary store Prada Hyper Leaves opened as part of the luxury brand's collaboration with Galeries Lafayette. The store, created by designers in the spirit of wildlife, occupies two spaces in the iconic department store and includes a custom-designed pavilion, as well as a massive neon baobab tree two floors high and a large number of tropical leaves. The concept reflects the wilderness vision of the designers, depicting different landscapes.
The interior of the store is made in bright shades of green and serves as a showcase for the presentation of a new spring-summer collection of clothes, shoes, and accessories of the Italian brand. Giant leaves accompanying the store on both sides serve as shelves for the products of the fashion house, and "natural" carpets lead visitors around the store, opening the full range of items from the collection of 2020.
The retail space is divided into two halls: women's clothing is displayed in the main green pavilion, decorated with metal mesh and neon lights. Prada's men's collections are sold around a huge artificial wood, also with a large number of lights. Both are illuminated with neon signs in the form of the fashion house logo. Various styles from the Spring-Summer 2020 shoe line are available in the pop-up shop alongside the top items from the clothing collection and are located at the base of the baobab.
