Prices for the new devices will range from $370 to $1,100.
Amazon has announced the first TVs under its brand. On sale in the U.S. market, the devices will be available from October 4, 2021. The start of sales in other markets has not yet been reported.
According to the company's press service, the two lines are the Amazon Fire TV Omni Series, the prices of devices that will start from $410 to $1100, and the essential - Amazon Fire TV 4-Series, priced from $370 to $520.
Amazon's first smart TVs will feature Alexa voice assistants and will also get 4K resolution. The Omni Series lineup will feature TVs ranging from 43 to 75 inches, and the 4-Series will range from 43 to 55 inches with HLG and HDR10 support. The top-end models will also support Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Digital Plus, connect Amazon Echo speakers and webcams for Zoom calls.
Amazon is also preparing to release special software that will allow you to control your smart home with your TVs. Additional features and functions that TV buyers will get for free will be introduced by the end of 2021. In particular, users, through a voice assistant, will be able to turn on additional programs in a new window and get recommendations and information without using the remote control or the phone.
