Abercrombie & Fitch marks its presence in the vibrant city of London with the grand opening of a new flagship store, offering a stylish destination for fashion enthusiasts in the bustling metropolis. The store showcases the brand's latest collections, providing an immersive shopping experience in the iconic London fashion scene.
New flagship on on Carnaby StreetAbercrombie & Fitch aims to create a significant impact on Carnaby Street on December 15 with the launch of its new store located at number 39. The store will feature the latest collections for both women and men from the renowned American brand.
The new store will be "a light and bright space evoking a chic hotel lobby omnichannel shopping capabilities, to seamlessly connect customers’ digital and in-person shopping experiences" sait the company.
"To strengthen ties with the community," the store incorporates an exclusive art installation featuring photographs capturing the essence of London. This initiative aligns with the vibrant atmosphere synonymous with Carnaby Street. Once a location that faced a somewhat dilapidated phase in the subsequent decades following its prominence in the 1960s, the street has undergone a complete revitalization in the 21st century.
Youth-oriented fashionToday, it stands as a dynamic hub for sports, youth-oriented fashion, casual wear, and beauty brands, complemented by a diverse array of arts and pop culture offerings. Notably, the recent RankinLive pop-up added to the eclectic mix, opening its doors just last month.
"We believe stores matter, and our new A&F location on Carnaby Street is another example of our commitment to the UK market," said Scott Clarke-Bryan, Managing Director, EMEA at Abercrombie & Fitch Co.
Clarke-Bryan highlighted that Carnaby Street is “in the heart of one of the city’s busiest shopping areas” and Andrew Price, Executive Director at landlord Shaftesbury Capital said A&F’s arrival “demonstrates Carnaby’s Street’s ongoing appeal as a vibrant, high footfall shopping destination in the heart of London’s West End”.
