A Ferris wheel with views of New York City opens at American Dream

The ride, called The Dream Wheel, will consist of 27 booths with a unique view.

Megamall American Dream in New Jersey will feature a giant 90-meter Ferris wheel with views of New York's famous urban panorama, the Hudson River, and the surrounding landscape. 

A unique view will be offered from each of the 27 cabins of the Dream Wheel (each accommodating 16 people). A round of the Ferris wheel will take about 30 minutes. 

Dream Wheel was built by Breman Mega Wheels of the Netherlands (also worked on similar projects in Miami, Seattle, and Myrtle Beach) and designed by BUSSINK. Skyviews of America, which also owns Skyviews Miami, owns and operates American Dream.



Desserts, pastries and drinks will be available at the entrance to the Ferris wheel, including Deep Fried Love, Oreos, Nutella Funnel Cakes. There will be VIP-cabins with premium seats and luxurious decor for up to 6 passengers. 

Starting April 13, 2022, the Ferris wheel will be open to visitors, VIPs, and private events seven days a week.

The Wheel of Dreams at American Dream offers a dizzying experience unlike any other. No other venue offers such a stunning view as The Wheel of Dreams. Locals and tourists will enjoy it as it becomes an iconic landmark in New Jersey," said Don Hermezian, CEO of American Dream. 

Tickets for the Wheel of Dreams will cost $29 for adults and $20 for children. Individual groups and local residents have been promised a discount by the administration. Ticket sales began on April 1.
