Chinese retailer Miniso is planning international expansion. The company will open stores in four new countries on three continents – Angola, Trinidad and Tobago, Latvia and Panama. The new openings are planned in celebration of the company’s tenth anniversary.
According to the company’s press service, the first Miniso store in Latvia will open in Riga in June 2023. The chain will also launch in Panama this summer, with plans to open seven stores in the country by the end of the year.
Miniso will open its first store in Trinidad and Tobago in mid-2023. Several more outlets will appear in the country in the coming years. The Chinese retailer is looking for partners to develop in Central and South America.
The first store in Angola will open in the Shopping Avenida shopping center in Luanda. The expansion is scheduled to start in December 2023, and three more chain stores will open in the city in the future.
