The company presented a new version of the familiar dish – its Spice Chicken McNuggets will be available to guests in restaurants starting mid-September.

Dishes made from fried chicken in different variations became extremely popular during the quarantine regime. Staying at home, customers increasingly began ordering a variety of nuggets and chicken legs from fast-food chains. Such chains as Wendy’s, Popeyes, KFC, and Burger King have noted a sharp increase in demand for such items. Chain McDonald’s, which also intends to participate in the war for buyers in this rapidly growing segment of the market, could not stay aside.
The company has reportedly introduced a new dish, Chicken Nugget Spice Chicken McNuggets. These are both familiar and beloved by McNuggets customers, but in a more spicy version, the nuggets will be covered with a mixture of cayenne and chili peppers. It is the first change the company has proposed for nuggets, since their appearance on the menu in 1983.
Along with spicy nuggets, McDonald’s also presents a new sauce for fans of “hot.” The sauce, made out of a mixture of red peppers and chili peppers, will be called Mighty Hot Sauce. Also, in September, visitors will be able to try out another new menu item: Vanilla McFlurry ice cream with caramel topping and slices of cookies Chips Ahoy! McFlurry.
As early as from September 16, restaurant guests will be able to order all new dishes directly at the restaurants or via delivery service. New menu items will be available for a limited time in the U.S. and only for customers.
The launch of the new set is the first McDonald's McNugget Buddy in more than 25 years.
