An international exhibition of retail real estate will be held on the new digital platform MAPIC Digital.

The retail real estate exhibition MAPIC 2020 will be entirely online on the new digital platform MAPIC Digital. The event was scheduled to be held in Cannes from 17 to November 19, 2020. The organizers canceled the exhibition due to the problematic epidemiological situation leading up to the pandemic.
At the same time, it is reported that the new international B2B event for entertainment and leisure professionals, LeisurUp 2020, will also be fully online. The platform is available on the official website mapic.com and will be available to users from November 2 to December 31, 2020.
“MAPIC Digital will unite the international community of retail and leisure professionals. It will hold virtual meetings, provide access to online conferences and documents, as well as open new urban centers and projects in the fields of retail and leisure,” commented Natalie DePetro, Director of MAPIC. The organizers expect that in 2021 MAPIC and LeisurUp will be held in Cannes in a “physical” format.
The digital platform will be deployed in three stages: preparation from 2 to November 17, “live experience” from 17 to November 19, when meetings and conferences will be organized online with market leaders, and “afterlife” with permanent access to the database for contact identification. Details about the new features of the MAPIC Digital platform will be announced in the coming weeks and posted on the exhibition’s official website.
