Penang Times Square is an upcoming shopping centre and commercial centre which is currently under construction at George Town, Penang. The site is built on what is formerly the Escoy Smelting Company, it is located along Jalan Dato Kramat and just a stone’s throw away from KOMTAR.
One of the construction proposals is the inclusion of a monorail station in the shopping centre, in line of a government proposal to connect the east side of the island with the Penang Monorail service in the near future. But it has no longer available and we do not know whether it will be built, or not.
The outlet's closure at 1540 Broadway was a big surprise to experts and customers.
