About this mall

The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands opened in 2010 at 10 Bayfront Avenue within the Marina Bay Sands integrated resort designed by Moshe Safdie, with 74,000 sqm of net lettable area across the ground and basement levels. Las Vegas Sands develops and manages the property as the Singapore flagship of its global retail portfolio, embedded within a 20-hectare resort complex comprising three hotel towers, the SkyPark infinity pool, the ArtScience Museum, and the Sands Expo and Convention Centre.

The Apple Marina Bay Sands store sits on a floating glass sphere on the Marina Bay waterfront, connected to The Shoppes by an underwater glass tunnel, a purpose-built architectural commission that has become one of the most photographed retail spaces in Asia. The celebrity chef dining strip along the internal waterfront canal includes Waku Ghin by Tetsuya Wakuda alongside Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen and a circuit of premium international dining that treats the canal as a promenade rather than a corridor. The luxury retail register spans Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Chanel, Dior, Bulgari, Hermès, Cartier, Rolex, Valentino, Bottega Veneta, and the full spectrum of global luxury houses in a concentration that places The Shoppes alongside ION Orchard as Singapore’s two principal luxury retail addresses. The Louis Vuitton Island Maison occupies a standalone structure over the Marina Bay water.

The Marina Bay Sands resort receives tens of millions of annual visitors across its hotel, casino, convention, and leisure facilities. The Bayfront MRT station directly below the property operates at the Circle Line and Downtown Line interchange, providing transit access alongside the resort guest catchment. Parking covers approximately 3,500 vehicles. The Marina Bay waterfront promenade connects pedestrian flow from Gardens by the Bay and the Marina Bay Financial Centre.

Las Vegas Sands manages The Shoppes as an integral component of the resort economics rather than as a standalone retail asset: the luxury tenant profile reflects the casino and MICE visitor demographic rather than the general Singapore consumer market, and the celebrity chef programming serves hotel guests whose F&B spend is allocated at a higher average than the general dining market. The floating Apple Store and the Canal architecture are capital investments in place-making that generate tourism value for the broader resort beyond their individual retail revenue contribution.
