Keizerslanden

Keizerslanden is one of Wereldhave’s principal Dutch regional retail assets, opened in 1985 in the Keizerslanden district of Deventer along the Holterweg arterial road in the Overijssel province of eastern Netherlands. The 16,000-sqm regional centre houses approximately 50 stores across two retail levels, anchoring the eastern Deventer suburban retail map between the historic central Deventer pedestrian shopping district and the broader Salland regional residential catchment.

The format combines an Albert Heijn supermarket anchor with mid-tier fashion volume across the retail floors and a dining and services cluster engineered for the Keizerslanden residential demographic and the broader eastern Deventer suburban population. Dutch specialty retailers, accessible-mid-market international fashion brands, and convenience formats populate the tenant lineup at the value-oriented positioning calibrated for the broad demographic across the Salland provincial belt.

The catchment combines the Keizerslanden residential population with the broader Deventer metropolitan and Salland regional demographic that the surrounding Bathmen, Olst-Wijhe, and Voorst municipalities concentrate. The asset’s commercial role within the Dutch retail map is the dominant eastern Deventer suburban regional, complementing rather than competing with the historic central Deventer pedestrian retail district.
