Hamburg Pavilion is a 989,779 sq ft open-air power center in Lexington, Kentucky, situated on 106 acres at the northwest corner of Interstate 75 and Man O’ War Boulevard. Developed by Thomas Land and Development on former Hamburg Place Farm land, the center opened in 1997 and has operated as the dominant retail destination in the Lexington market since.
The tenant mix concentrates on big-box and value-oriented retailers: Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Marshalls, Ulta Beauty, DSW, Ross Dress for Less, Burlington, PetSmart, Michaels, and Barnes & Noble. A 116,000 sq ft Target serves as shadow anchor. Regal Cinemas operates a multiplex on-site. The center records approximately 7.7 million visits annually, ranking first among power centers in Kentucky and first among all shopping centers in the state by Placer.ai visit data.
Hamburg Pavilion’s trade area extends roughly 30 miles west and 50 miles east, supported by dual interstate access at I-64 and I-75. The property was acquired by Fairbourne Properties from a Starwood Capital Group subsidiary in 2024. The center takes its name from Hamburg Place Farm, the historic thoroughbred horse farm on whose land it was developed.
