Kohl’s is gearing up for the new holiday season. The retailer has announced an expanded assortment and is launching a unique holiday gift guide.
The retailer is opening expanded retail areas for seasonal items, including gifts and home decorations. New gift stores are also popping up at the front of each store.
Released by the retailer, the guide includes gift ideas across various price points and product categories, including apparel, electronics, toys and home goods. The offer will be active from October through December 2023.
Kohl’s will also relaunch the Bricktober promotion, hold Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales in November and extend holiday promotions in December. The revamped merchandise includes home décor items, cold-weather accessories and fashion jewelry priced as low as $30.
“We’ve curated an incredible holiday assortment across all of our key categories, to bring the newest and latest styles, products and brands to our customers, at prices they will feel good about,” Nick Jones, Kohl’s chief merchandising and digital officer, said in a statement
Kohl’s is also hiring additional employees for the big sale season, although this year’s exact number of seasonal employees has not been disclosed. Earlier it became known that the retailer’s sales in the second quarter declined by 5% and net income fell 60% to $58 million.
