French chain of department stores Galeries Lafayette has announced a new service for shoppers after closing the store on the back of the difficult epidemiological situation in the country. The company offers its customers the option to make purchases via video link in the format of “personal shopping”.
The new service is now available to customers both in France and abroad. Galeries Lafayette promises to organize international express delivery to its foreign customers, reports WWD.
The official website of the department stores offers goods from more than 120 world manufacturers – clothing, footwear, accessories, cosmetics, and perfumes, etc.
Galeries Lafayette department stores have been closed to customers since March 15, 2020, when the French authorities suspended operations of all non-food stores in the country. As of May 11, clothing stores were given the right to reopen, but department stores are still closed.
