The opening of the brand’s third flagship store worldwide follows the success of the Milan-based Piazza della Scala store.

Fendi’s premium-class furniture and home goods branch, Fendi Casa, has unveiled its first flagship store in China. Occupying 8200 sq. feet (765 sq.m) on Nanjing West Road in Shanghai, the two-story store features floor-to-ceiling windows that provide natural lighting.
The opening of the brand’s third flagship store worldwide follows the success of the Milan-based Piazza della Scala store, which debuted last year. Fendi Casa operates globally, including in Europe, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and the Americas.
According to Alberto Da Passano, General Manager of Fashion Furniture Design, Asia, China is one of the most crucial markets for Fendi. The brand’s new launch in Shanghai presents both a challenge and an opportunity.

Fendi established Fendi Casa in 1987 after the idea of creating a home collection emerged from the minds of Alberto Vignatelli and Anna Fendi. Fendi was among the pioneer fashion houses in the home goods market with a specialized collection.
In 2021, Fendi and Design Holding, an international high-design group, joined forces to establish Fashion Furniture Design (FF Design) to expand the Fendi Casa business. Design Holding is the largest shareholder in this joint venture.
