After many delays with their long-awaited blockbuster, the audience will finally be able to see it. And not in cinemas, but through the Disney+ service itself.

The release of a remake of the classic animated movie “Mulan” is one of the most anticipated events for viewers around the world. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the mass closing of cinemas, the premiere, previously scheduled for March, has been postponed several times due to the ongoing outbreak of the virus. One of Disney’s latest reports was that the screening of the movie is being postponed indefinitely.
And so the company pleased their fans and officially announced that “Mulan” will still see the light shortly. However, the film will not be shown in cinemas, but via its own service company Disney +, which will be shown in November 2019. “Mulan” will appear on Disney+ from September 4th. To watch the movie, users will have to pay an additional $29.99.
According to Bob Chapek, CEO of Disney, with the launch of the film at Disney + “Mulan”, it will appear for distribution in cinemas in those markets where the company’s streaming service is not yet available, as well as in those regions where theaters are already open.
The announcement of the release of “Mulan” was made during the company’s report on the results of the third quarter. The impact of the pandemic has had a significant impact on Disney’s reporting performance. The company reported a net loss of nearly $5 billion in the third quarter of 2020. The entertainment parks and resorts division was particularly hard hit, with revenues in the third quarter falling by 85 percent from the previous period.
