The TEC shopping center in the southeast of Erfurt was built in the mid-1990s and houses several facilities catering and trade. On an area of approximately 32,000 m² about 40 shops, services and food outlets offer an enormous choice at reasonable prices. Outlets range from leading international brand names to local retailers. Specialist superstores, specialist smaller retailers, restaurants and cafés can all be found under one roof.
The TEC shopping center is located in the southeast of Erfurt, the capital city of Thuringia (100 kilometres south-west of Leipzig). The mall benefits from good transportation links.
Hauptbahnhof / Erfurt bus station:
Take the bus line 9 direction "Daberstedt". Get off at the stop "Jena Street" and switch to the side of the road. Run rearward facing up to the Rudolstädter road. On the opposite side you will see the TEC Erfurt.
You can also get to the center by bus lines 51, 60, or 155 in the direction of "Niedernissa", or line 65 direction in direction of "Blücherstraße".
The centre is presented in transparent architecture. The market halls and roof construction are particularly striking features of the architecture.
Shops are situated arround covered shopping arcade with skylight. In the garage and outside of the one- to two-storey building are 1,400 parking spaces available. The shopping center is equipped with escalators and moving walks and panoramic glass elevators.
