Luxury fashion house will unite its men’s and women’s stores in Miami.

Luxury fashion house Balenciaga will unite its men’s and women’s stores in Miami. The new two-level space will be the largest in the U.S. retail chain.
The flagship will have a total area of approximately 8,500 square feet. The space is designed according to the Raw Architecture concept, which was previously featured in the new store in St. Tropez. The brand promises to retain the existing structural design elements while following sustainability principles.
The store features benches made from artificial cactus-based material and exhibits works by Swedish artist Charlotte Train created from recycled mattresses and cushions.
The façade of the new monostore is made of glass and chrome and decorated with cracked bricks and graphite elements. Above the entrance to each floor is a neon-lit Balenciaga sign. The Art Deco flooring and enamel design elements refer to the traditional architecture characteristic of Miami.
