Amazon has officially announced the dates of this year’s massive Prime Day sale.

Amazon will hold it’s annual online store trade event from October 13 to 14. Earlier it became known that Amazon has warned its sellers about the beginning of sales of “Black Friday” on October 26. The company guessed from Prime Day that sales were going to be higher this year. And the company has no doubts that they will be.
It is positive news for the market. Over the summer, many U.S. retailers announced that they had given up on the idea of holding autumn sales this year. Amazon canceled a traditional Prime Day sale in July and expressed doubts about the possibility of holding a “Black Friday” sales event in the coming months.
However, officially the company is still keeping a secret any leakage of information about this year’s Prime Day. An advertiser poster from body care manufacturer Braun, which appeared last week and said that reasonable offers are worth waiting for “in mid-October,” disappeared from several sites after journalists from The Verge sent requests to the manufacturer.
According to analysts, Prime Day 2019 brought the company about $6 billion. And this is taking into account that last year, employees of Amazon warehouses around the world staged a strike to protest the company’s work conditions.
