Adidas and Yoji Yamamoto announced the opening of the new Y-3 flagship store in Australia.
Adidas and Yoji Yamamoto announced the opening of their new Y-3 flagship store in Australia. The outlet is located in the Westfield Sydney shopping center.
According to the concept, the brand’s new retail space is “an art gallery and a sports arena.” Y-3 began opening similar mono stores around the world in late 2022.
Y-3’s signature style combines engineered clothing and intense performance with Yamamoto’s inimitable elegance and strong tailoring. The result is a modern street uniform designed in Japanese and German ateliers and designed for the world.

“The design of the store is a simplicity of interior architectural elements, materials and lighting,” commented Y-3, noting that the store’s design provides a “less is more” space to showcase clothing.
Designers created the new store using technological and sustainable materials, including recyclable materials. Y-3 officials said the new store opening focuses on the customer experience and creating an engaging and loyalty-building environment around the brand’s core values.
