The American chain of fast food restaurants Wendy’s will actively develop in the rapidly developing markets of Central Asia. The expansion partner will be Kusto Group.

The company plans to open 55 restaurants under the Wendy’s brand with locations in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. In addition, the company will launch a traffic control system based on artificial intelligence in the country.

In its statement, Kusto Group notes that the launch of a new generation of restaurants and artificial intelligence-based truckstops in Kazakhstan will take place in the second quarter of 2024.

The founder and chairman of the board of directors of Kusto Group announced the intention to develop Wendy’s in Central Asia at the annual Wendy’s franchise convention in Washington, DC.

Wendy’s is a well-known international fast-food chain serving hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and various sides. As of the third quarter of 2023, the Wendy’s international chain includes restaurants with locations in 32 countries.
