Virtual shopping centre opened by real estate branch of Auchan

The shopping centre is due to open during October.  It will allow visitors to the virtual centre to browse all the items that are available from the 400 retailers currently situated in the 108 shopping centres run by Immochan in France.  Currently, only 50% of these retailers have active online shopping portals.
Once the online platform commences, it will be possible for French citizens to place and pay for their orders line, and collect their orders in the store later.  They will also have the opportunity to choose a central pick-up point or if they wish, pay a fee to have it delivered.
The ideal would be for shoppers to collect their online orders as this will bring more visitors to the shopping centres.  The target is for 100 retailers to participate in the October launch.  The stores will be charged a participation fee based on the amount of sales.
