The new store will be Uniqlo’s 17th in the UK.
The Japanese fashion retailer is going to open its flagship store in London. The three-level retail space will appear in Covent Garden district in spring 2023.
The opening will take place as part of Uniqlo’s ambitious campaign to expand its operations in the United Kingdom.
The new store will be located in the heart of the famous shopping district and will have separate entrances from Long Acre and Floral Street.
The flagship will have a total area of more than 15,000 square feet. Uniqlo will feature an expanded assortment of men’s, women’s and children’s apparel and accessories in the store.
“It’s an honor to be opening in an area of London with such cultural and retail heritage and continuing to expand our UK presence in important retail locations,” said Alessandro Dudech, Uniqlo UK COO.
The new store will be Uniqlo’s 17th in the UK. In October, the Japanese fashion giant opened a new monostore in London at Battersea Power Station.
