Gaziantep, previously and still informally called Antep, is a city in southeast Turkey and among the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. The city is located 115 mi east of Adana and 60 mi north of Aleppo, Syria. The city has two urban districts under its administration, Sahinbey and Şehitkamil. It is the sixth most populous city in Turkey. Gaziantep’s socio-economic and cultural development has accelerated greatly in the last few years. It serves as a significant intersection between the international commerce routes that reach beyond the borders of Turkey into the Middle East and the Mediterranean. Gaziantep’s industrial and commercial infrastructure develops rapidly. Prime Mall is the biggest shopping centre in the region with more than 170 shops.
