At the virtual international event for retail MAPIC Digital, a new project was presented, which will be unique not only for Georgia but for the whole region. A modern premium-class outlet village will be built near the Georgian capital.
Tbilisi Outlet Village will delight customers with a wide range of fashion goods, including world-class brands and the most famous Georgian brands, and international designer brands.
The architectural side of the project is L35 company. It is planned that Outlet Village will combine both traditional design elements and more modern solutions. Visitors will see a new reading of the conventional Tbilisi facade of houses and other street architectural elements. At the same time, the project will get the most modern infrastructure. It will provide the most comfortable shopping and an opportunity to spend time pleasantly.
The outlet will be located in the south-east of Tbilisi. It is hoped the project will attract not only residents of the capital but also foreign buyers, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia, and Turkey. According to the project creators’ plans, the number of visitors will exceed 7 million during the first three years.
Tbilisi Outlet Village complex will have an area of 20000 sq.m. Construction will start already in 2020. The first stage is scheduled to be completed in 2022. The project will be opened with an area of 12,500 sq.m. The project was created by Georgian Outlets & Resort Group and TORG – The Outlet Resource Group.
