The network has 58 stores in 31 Polish towns and employ more than 900 people. Some offered product ranges between 10 – 20 thousand depending on the size of the warehouse. They sell items such as food, household goods, appliances and industrial products such as cosmetic accessories, toilet, etc. In some of their stores, you can find specialized departments with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee.
The company was founded in 1991 in Bielsko Podlaskie by Helena, Miroslaw, Mirosława and Arkadiusz Burzyńskich. In the early years, they were selling wholesale food products. In 1995, Arhelan was the first market in Bielsko Podlaski. In the following years, their business expanded and opened more branches in the province, Podlasie. In 2007, their activity was grown in the area, Warmia-Mazury.
