In addition to the largest supermarket chain in Poland, in May 2011, the Jerónimo Martins Group embraced a new business project in the drugstore sector in Poland, pharmacy chain Apteka Na Zdrowie and a network of stores under the label Hebe.
At the end of 2011, the network of pharmacies Apteka Na Zdrowie had 45 outlets in Poland, located along the Biedronka stores where the consumer can find drugs and cosmetics at affordable prices, as well as advice from pharmacy technicians.
All stores are located next to shops Biedronka, boasting, however, separate and independent facilities, according to the Pharmaceutical Law in force in Poland. There are about 45 Apteka Na Zdrowie pharmacies in 38 cities in Poland.
