The unique five-story facility will open on November 15. And it will be not just the most giant premium format coffee house Starbucks, but a real theater, in the walls of which there is a play dedicated to making a variety of coffee varieties. The beans will be roasted and ground right in front of the visitors, who will be able to see the different methods of preparation of the drink.
The room is designed in such a way that customers can learn as much as possible about the exciting world of coffee. They will have the opportunity to drink their favorite drink in several coffee houses with different menus (each floor has its unique institution). Some of the drinks served can only be tasted here. Also, Reserve Roastery Chicago will have a bar offering the author’s cocktails based on coffee. And even visitors can buy a variety of bakery products of the famous Italian bakery Princi. This institution is the only place in the USA where an unusual nitro-ice-cream will be offered. For maintenance of all this magnificence, Reserve Roastery Chicago staff will make 200 persons – barista, sellers, and bakers.
The city itself and its sights inspired the design of the premises. Here and there, there are recognizable green motifs of Starbucks and steel containers of coffee. There are works by famous local artists on the walls, some of which are available for sale. An unusual element of the design of the room is an escalator that follows a curved trajectory, from which you can better see what is going on around you.
Reserve Roastery format facilities were created to strengthen the significance of the Starbucks brand, providing visitors with a unique experience. Everyone who considers himself a real coffee lover will want to visit such a coffee shop. It is possible to tell safely that in Chicago, there was one more sight. This is the sixth Reserve Roastery. Before that, the company has already opened similar “coffee temples” in Seattle, Shanghai, Milan, New York, and Tokyo. However, in terms of the area, they are all significantly smaller than what will work in Chicago.
