In 2010, Levi Strauss & Co. launched dENiZEN in Asia – the first brand of the company started outside of the United States. Denizen is low priced global Levis brand, aimed at the Asian market, particularly China. The new global brand of jeans called the "dENIZEN" is aimed at young consumers in emerging markets like China, Singapore, and South Korea as well as India, and offers great fitting, quality jeanswear for a new generation of upwardly mobile youth.
With years of American craft and expertise, the brand focuses on outfitting a new generation with a legacy of its well-crafted functional jeanswear and contemporary fashion essentials. dENiZEN endeavors to advocate confidence, inspiration, and self-expression through its iconic denim pieces and trend-led seasonal hues. In 2013, the brand expanded into Canada, and dENiZEN jeans are now available in more than 1,900 Target stores in the U.S. and Canada.
