Built in 1978, HarbourFront Centre, a mixed-use office and retail development which was formerly known as the World Trade Centre, is one of the oldest buildings which bagged the coveted Platinum Award (2011), the highest rating for green buildings in Singapore since the launch of the BCA Green Mark Scheme. The building which now resides 120 office and 160 retail tenants went through two refurbishment exercises in 2004 and 2008 to enhance the retail space and upgrade the office facilities.
