The Outlet Village in Banbridge has announced a new opening as part of £4m investment plan of redevelopment.
Specialist cookware company ProCook, with 31 stores in the UK, has opened a new 1,700 sq ft / 160 sqm store at THE OUTLET, the retail outlet village in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. This is the first time that the UK’s number one kitchenware supplier has opened a shop in Ireland. ProCook is joined by beauty retailer The Beauty Outlet, with 17 stores in the UK, as the family business begins its first ever Irish shop in a 2,687 sq ft / 250 sqm lot. The retailers joined as part of an overall investment of over £400,000 in six new stores by The Lotus Group and Tristan Capital, that also includes openings for Danish menswear Jack & Jones, lady’s fashion store Klass, homeware textile producers Ulster Weavers, and Card Centre.
The new Jack and Jones store is opening its 2,982 sq ft / 277 sqm store on the 16th of November. The Danish brand is one of Europe’s leading producers of menswear and jeans, which are the backbone of its business.
The new Klass store will offer a range of stylish and sophisticated yet affordable ladies fashion in a 1,300 sq ft / 120 sqm store.
Ulster Weavers, the prominent Irish homeware producers, combine flexible and hardy fabric with traditional Irish manufacturing and innovative textile design to produce homeware. The home textile company will be moving into 2231 sq ft / 207 sqm store.
Finally, the Card Centre will offer an extensive range of greeting cards, gifts, and seasonal merchandise in a shop encompassing 1,000 sq ft / 100 sqm. These new brands will join existing retailers such as Nike Factory Store, Next Outlet, Marks & Spencer Outlet, Jaeger, L.K. Bennett, and GAP, as The Lotus Group continues making significant investments to enhance the current 209,000 sq ft / 19,400 sqm that represent THE OUTLET.
Alastair Coulson, Director, The Lotus Group, commented on the arrival of the new stores: “The arrival of ProCook really tops of the milestone arrival of six new retailers to THE OUTLET, and shows that our investment is paying off as the center continues to go from strength-to-strength.”
Based in Banbridge, Co. Down, and located directly beside the main A1 Belfast to Dublin road THE OUTLET is the perfect place for savvy shoppers, with reductions of up to 70% off recommended retail prices available.
