14 new countriesThe service was launched in test mode in the UK last year and debuted in the French market in September 2023. According to the new announcement, the Zara Pre-Owned service will also launch in Germany, Spain, Austria, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg and Portugal.
Zara Pre-Owned functions through a platform-based model wherein users upload images of Zara products they wish to sell. Once a customer registers, they dispatch the items directly. The retailer enhances the images with supplementary details about the clothing. Additionally, customers have the option to exclusively repair Zara garments or choose to donate them to the Red Cross.
