Two months before the official opening, 20 more brands have been added to the mall's list of brands.
Despite the retail market's difficult situation due to the coronavirus pandemic, new shopping centers continue to open. The recruitment of internationally renowned brands as tenants shows that many brands are ready to develop despite the crisis and are relatively optimistic about the market's potential.
A large Westfield Mall of the Netherlands will open in Randstad in two months. Its owners say they have already signed some leases with well-known retailers, and after adding another 20 new brands, 90% of the mall's retail space was filled.
One of the largest tenants of the shopping center will be Nike. It is planned to open a new modern flagship store of the brand with about 750 square meters. Customers will also find in the mall clothing and accessories store JD Sports, Guess Active Wear, Cast Iron, Picture People, The Old Man, Olymp & Hades. Studio Pets, Snipes, and Mica Beauty and retail spaces from home goods retailers H&M Home, Goossens, Xenos, and other brands.
The mall will feature a variety of entertainment and stores for children, including agreements that have already been signed with major book retailers—also planned and a variety of areas for recreation and entertainment, as for places to eat. At the same time, shopping, it is scheduled to open several restaurants and cafes.
The mall will also feature an innovative space called "Eet Theatre" with a unique and impressive ceiling design. Here will open ten restaurants, entertainment concepts, and Kinepolis cinema. In total, the new mall will house about 280 stores, restaurants, and entertainment areas.
The official opening date is March 18, 2021.
