Uniqlo opens its first store in Poland

The two-level store of about 800 sq. meters will open in the center of the Polish capital in the fall of 2022.

Japanese-based multinational fashion retailer Uniqlo is opening its first retail store in Poland. The pop-up store will be located in the Domy Towarowe Wars Sawa Junior shopping center in downtown Warsaw.

"The decision to establish a physical presence in this new market builds on our experience of offering customers the latest products via the Uniqlo Europe online store," Uniqlo Europe CEO Taku Morikawa said.

According to the CEO, through the work of the first pop-up store the company expects to explore the possibilities of the Polish market and gain information that will help to plan the possible future expansion of the company in the market. 

The two-level store of about 800 square meters will open in the center of the Polish capital in the fall of 2022. Experts say it is a good location for Uniqlo's first physical store in the country. Wars Sawa Junior is located near the busiest transport hubs, business districts and the most popular tourist attractions. 

"By working with brands such as Uniqlo, we wish to attract a new generation of customers that values a genuine relationship with brands and the ability to directly experience the products they offer." said Scott Dwyer, Group Managing Director, Retail at Atrium European Real Estate, the owner of Wars Sawa Junior.
