German toy producer, geobra Brandstätter, will open its first PLAYMOBIL FunStore in Austria.
The 108-square-meter outlet will open to the public at SCS in Vösendorf. It will add flair to the existing toy segment at the center and will occupy the space between entrance 6 and 7 on the first floor.
The FunStore will offer the full range of PLAYMOBIL’s play themes numbering over 30 and will include exclusive accessories and add-ons. The outlet will also feature two special highlights for young kids: the ability to assemble custom PLAYMOBIL figures using the figure-making machine and having fun with current PLAYMOBIL novelties on the play table.
PLAYMOBIL is a renowned global toy brand with market presence in 100 countries, marketed through trade partners. Currently, geobra Brandstätter already runs seven FunStores in its home country—Germany and one foreign store in Madrid, Spain. The new outlet in Vienna- Vösendorf will be its second store abroad and will further bolster the reach and influence of the brand on the global scene.
According to Marcus Wild, CEO at SES, there is a current trend of brand name businesses seeking to “strengthen their brand presentation with their own store.” He further explains that this can only be successful when the brands “can differentiate themselves from others with their shop mix” and when they offer something special. He maintains that, “SES is delighted” to collaborate with PLAYMOBIL to open to the public its first ever brand store in Austria.
