Carrefour is set to open Siyuanqiao to deliver an exhilarating experience to families in Beijing, China.
The subsidiary of Carrefour overseeing the launch is the Chinese Property Division. Carrefour has been in the commerce industry for over 5 decades, amassing local market knowledge in 35 countries, and being part of the success stories of 11,910 stores around the globe.
Siyuanqiao is situated in Wangjing district, a flexible business area in North-East Beijing. It is in proximity to the 4th ring and IKEA, and would benefit from the sustainable traffic eccentric to the district.
The shopping center is a complex comprising four levels with a combined Gross Leasable Area of 35,000 square meters. Of this GLA, 11,600 square meters is reserved for the Carrefour hypermarket located on two levels. The mall will be home to more than 80 premium brands including Uniqlo, Decathlon, Starbucks and C&A.
Keeping to the modern shopping vibe, the mall also boasts of a robust food court studded with at least 20 restaurants and a combined capacity of 1,000 seats. Furthermore, the shopping center offers exciting services with the sole aim of delivering a top-notched shopping experience and noteworthy convenience. Part of the tailored offering include a recreational playground, battery charging points, information desk and a baby lounge.
The Siyuanqiao takes on a colorful and rhythmed design language inspired by nature. Designed by Broadway Malyan, the contemporary fashion and lifestyle shopping center is designed according to four natural elements—grass, tree, wood, and water.
Design and services offered by the mall are engineered to be as eco-friendly as possible. Part of the eco-friendly amenities in the center include electric shuttles, water filtering garden and e-car charging stations.
