The first fitness studio will open in Los Angeles by the end of 2023.
Nike has announced plans to create a network of boutique fitness studios. FitLab is a partner in the project. The studios will specialize in live classes and social fitness events. The first fitness studio will open in Los Angeles by the end of 2023. Nike also plans to launch several more studios in the US. They will be open to anyone over the age of 18.The project will combine Nike Training Studios, focused on functional strength training, and Nike Running Studios, focused on endurance training. The company currently offers membership for $99 per month with a mandatory $49 reservation. Once the studios open, customers will receive unlimited workouts.
Nike said the fitness studios will open "where we have the best opportunity to engage with consumers through premium services, experiences and products." The new locations will sell Nike Studios merchandise.
In the first phase, passes will be tied to a specific fitness studio, and in the future, a single card will be created to allow exercising at any of the current locations.
"Nike recently announced Nike Well Collective, our commitment to deliver innovation, expertise, services and experiences across body, mind and life. As part of this we are onboarding new trainers globally and investing in Nike’s five pillars of holistic fitness: movement, mindfulness, nutrition, rest and connection," a Nike spokesperson said about the studios opening.
