Building permission has been granted to Multi Corporation for Forum Radunia, a new project to be built in downtown Gdansk.
The project is due to commence during autumn 2014, in a strategically located sites in the TriCity region. The planned completion date is set for late 2016.
Forum Radunia will be bordered by Hucisko, Waly Jagiellonskie, Armii Krajowej and 3 Maja streets. The site is conveniently located in the center of the city, next to the main railway station, municipal buildings and the Old Town. The area’s full potential has not yet been fully exploited, mainly due to the railway lines which run through the plot of land.
One of the critical elements of this project is to cover and house the railway tracks inside the completed complex. The process of forming a tunnel to cover the tracks has already commenced, after which the adjoining 1.5 hectares of land and the area above it will become part of the construction.
There will be sufficient space for about 200 stores, restaurants, cafes, Pure Jatomi fitness club and parking facilities for 1100 vehicles, within the 62000m² gross leasing area. Tenants already include international and Polish brands, such as McDonald’s, Yes, Wólczanka, W. Kruk, Vistula, Triumph, SWISS, Super-Pharm, Solar, Rossman, H&M, Douglas, Diverse, Deichmann and C&A. There are also some companies based in Gdansk, including LPP fashion brands Sinsay, Reserved, Mohito, HOUSE and CROPP, along with the home furnishing group, Home&You. Other brands which will be placed in the center are BIOWAY, Delicje cake shop and Szydlowski Bakery.
