The French fashion house and luxury goods manufacturer invites fans to discover new facets of the brand - to visit its first restaurant.
Louis Vuitton expands its business and opens its first restaurant in Osaka, Japan. The facilities will appear in the brand's new flagship store, which is scheduled to open in February 2020.
A separate name has been coined for the new venture: Le Café V. This may indicate that the company plans to continue opening its restaurants and cafes. If the first experience proves successful, Le Café V can be expected to appear in other stores of the brand around the world.
By providing customers with new experiences, even those not directly related to sales, Louis Vuitton is expected to increase their loyalty to the brand and consolidate the perception of the brand itself as part of a luxurious lifestyle. It is not the first time the company has resorted to this strategy. Thus, Louis Vuitton has already held exhibitions of contemporary art, and the experience was successful enough for the company to continue to experiment in different areas.
Le Café V will be located on the top floor of a four-level Louis Vuitton store in Osaka. Renowned Japanese chef Yosuke Suga creates the restaurant's menu. There will be an open terrace and a bar. The Louis Vuitton flagship store in Osaka will open on 1 February, and Le Café V will be available from 15 February.
