Krispy Kreme Donuts, Inc., an American doughnut company, announced the opening of a new type of store.
More and more companies, large and smaller, are beginning to experiment with the formats of their outlets. We have already written about the new concepts from Starbucks and IKEA, reported about the experiment that the startup ThirdLove has carried out. Now we know about a new type of shop from Krispy Kreme.
The changes will not affect the appearance, but the practical side. In particular, the menu was expanded to include doughnut cocktails on top and ice cream sandwiches. Visitors can also create their doughnut by mixing and combining five different glazes, a dozen toppings, and five flavors.
The shop has also become more technically advanced. There are updated shop windows, digital screens with menus, and some other technical improvements. Buyers can now make an order online; there is a place for issuing orders to couriers delivery services.
