Shopping mall in the Romanian city of Arad now benefits from the addition of an all new amusement park covering a total area of 1,500m2
The investment for the €1 million ($1.24 million) leisure development came from the real estate developer GTC Romania. They confirm that the Amusement Park development in the Galleria Arad is the largest entertainment zone in any shopping center in the region. The majority of the management work for the new park will be carried out by the firm Britta. This company also runs a similar entertainment space in the AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping complex in the capital city of Bucharest.
The new amusement park in Galleria Arad includes an area known as RoboLand. The comprehensive range of leisure options on offer here includes the likes of bumper cars, trampolines, video games and mini bowling. According to Britta, there will also be a Laser Tag Arena and a large scale toboggan area opened here before too long.
Important and Influential Stores in the Mall
The total rental area in the Galleria Arad center is around the 32,500m2 mark. Among the most important and influential stores currently trading here are Intersport, Adidas and brands from the Inditex Group (Zara, Stradivarius, Bershka etc). There is also a Cinema City located in the mall and a number of food outlets. The location of the city of Arad at the gateway to Romania from Central Europe makes it an important, vibrant commercial center.
Galleria Arad was opened in 2011 and is located in the North West part of the city, where 4 different residential areas meet. As well as an adjacent tram station, the mall enjoys a number of different methods of access, both using public transport and by private methods of transport.
This is one of three different shopping centers that GTC Romania has developed across the country, all under the same Galleria brand name. As well as this one in the capital city of the Arad County region, they have also developed Galleria malls in the regional cities of Buzau and Piatra Neamt.
Additionally, GTC Romania also owns the 45,000m2 City Gate office building. In terms of residential properties, it has worked recently on developing a couple of different projects in the capital city of Bucharest, namely Rose Garden and FeliCity. This growing Romanian real estate development company was founded back in 1999 and it forms a part of the larger Polish GTC Group.
