Futura and UNIQLO unveil a collection with graffiti elements

The Sport Utility Wear line features graffiti-style designs that stand out vividly against the basics.

UNIQLO reinterpreted the sport Utility Wear line due to the brand's collaboration with famous New York graffiti artist Futura. It is the second collaboration between UNIQLO and Futura Laboratories artist brand. The spotlight is on Atoms series prints - unusual combinations of lines and geometric elements typical for the Futura style. 

Futura x UNIQLO collection consists of the simplest and most essential things for sports and active lifestyle lovers. T-shirts, shirts, polo shirts, shorts, caps, and towels in neutral colors. It also marks the appearance of the first women's clothing collection with the participation of Futura. 

The highlight of the new line is the recognizable outlines of curls and broken lines from the Atoms series by the legendary street artist. Against a background of simple silhouettes and low-bright colors of clothes, the drawings immediately attract attention and look incredibly stylish. 

When creating the Sport Utility Wear line, UNIQLO applied the latest technologies for increased breathability. The brand also invented the technologies DRY-EX and AIRism UV Protection, thanks to which the air freely flows through the layers of fabric, and the athlete in these clothes sweats and overheats less.

The new Futura x UNIQLO collection will be available on the UNIQLO website and in physical stores. It will go on sale at the end of May. The approximate cost is $14.90 for a towel, $19.90 for a tank top or cap, $24.90 for shorts, and $29.90 for a polo shirt.
