Construction is expected to begin in 2025 and be completed in 2028.
A new state-of-the-art campus will be built in Hollywood that will include a shopping mall, gastronomic spaces, office space, a production studio and an auditorium for events.
The project at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Highland Avenue is being undertaken by CMNTY Culture. Construction is expected to begin in 2025, and the mixed-use complex will open in 2028.
The complex will be built on the property at 6767 W. Sunset Boulevard, which overlooks McCadden Place. According to the concept presented, the project will include:
- 443,170 square feet of office space;
- 5,330 square feet of retail/restaurant space;
- 55,020 square feet of commercial space, including a 500-seat auditorium;
- parking for 1,000 spaces.
The complex was conceptualized by HKS and landscape designer Hood Design Studio. The volume will include two connected high-rise buildings about 285 feet tall. They will be connected by a podium with an event terrace. There will also be an outdoor event space along Highland Avenue.
CMNTY Culture, which is implementing the project, purchased the site in late 2021 and then added adjacent spaces, investing more than $50 million.
