Burger King will offer burgers and drinks in reusable containers

In 2021, guests of individual establishments will receive the order in a reusable container and return the package with a deposit left behind.

As part of its efforts to protect the environment and take care of the environment, Burger King begins cooperation with the waste-free packaging Loop manufacturer. Next year, the company will start testing reusable tableware in its restaurants, which will significantly reduce the amount of waste. This step will be part of the brand's strategy to move to 100% use of materials from renewable, recycled, or certified sources in their packaging by 2025.

Buyers will order burgers, drinks, or other offerings from Burger King in reusable packaging. The new containers will look like familiar boxes and glasses, but they can be washed and reused. This option will require the buyer to leave a deposit, which will be returned after the package is given back through Loop's particular system. Both companies are ensuring that reusable items will be cleaned to the most stringent standards.

The first establishments, which will provide such an opportunity, will be different restaurants in New York, Portland, and Tokyo. Already in 2021, customers will be able to get their screamer or coffee in a reusable container. However, the company promises that the geography of the experiment will be expanded in the coming months.
