Belk opens 10 new outlets in the U.S.

New openings will occur in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.

Retailer Belk, which debuted in 2022 with its first outlet in Greeneville, Tennessee, is preparing to strengthen its market position by launching ten more stores in the format.

The company's press office said all planned openings will take place before the end of May 2023. The total number of stores under Belk will reach 16.

New openings will occur in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. The new outlets are scheduled to open on June 3 officially.

The outlets specialize in selling discounted merchandise shipped directly from Belk's large format stores. In addition, we are talking about deliveries of designer brands that have previously collaborated with the retailer.

Belk successfully debuted its outlet concept last year and then opened five new discount stores. As of the second quarter of 2023, the retailer has about 300 stores under management with locations in 16 southeastern states.
