Basketball merchandise with NBA branding will arrive at Decathlon stores worldwide

The retailer became the official licensee of the NBA. The products with basketball symbolism will appear in 1200 stores of the brand all over the world.

Decathlon, one of the world's largest sportswear retailers, has signed an official licensing agreement with the North American National Basketball Association. It is the first partnership for Decathlon with the sports league, making the retailer the authorized retailer of various products with the NBA logo in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. 

More than 1200 Decathlon stores and online-shop will offer apparel, footwear, and accessories featuring different NBA official branding and identity. These products will be presented under the retailer's basketball brand - TARMAK. The models created by Decathlon designers will appear. The brand has been existing for several years. It will allow the sports fans to buy new models with their favorite team's logos and basketball association symbols. 

According to Steve Griffiths, NBA EME's Global Head of Partnerships, "Through this partnership, NBA fans and basketball players around the world will have access to an exciting and innovative line of merchandise to help them join the game.

Customers will be able to purchase NBA-inspired products beginning in April 2021, while clothing, shoes, and various accessories will be available for pre-order beginning in March.
